A Guide for Mind, Body, and Work

Goal-Setting and Scripture

Each verse, such as Colossians 3:2 and Ephesians 5:15-16, serves as a foundation for our goals. These scriptures encourage us to focus on heavenly wisdom, make the most of every opportunity, and seek understanding.

Suggested Goals:

Mind Goals: Inspired by verses like Proverbs 27:12 and Psalm 101:2, set goals to cultivate discernment and lead a life of integrity. This might include daily reading, meditation, or pursuing knowledge that uplifts and edifies.

Body Goals: Reflecting on Ephesians 5:29 and 1 Peter 2:24, consider goals that honour and care for your body. This could involve healthy eating, regular exercise, or practices that promote physical and spiritual well-being.

Work Goals: Verses like 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 and Colossians 3:23-24 remind us our work is for the Lord. Set goals to enhance your work ethic, contribute positively to your workplace, or use your talents in service to others.

Each month, as we focus on a new verse like Philippians 4:6 or Proverbs 16:3, let's set goals that align with these scriptural truths. This way, our daily lives can reflect our deepest values and beliefs. Remember, it's about small, meaningful changes and forming new habits. Feel stuck? No worries! Sometimes, it's okay to leave the goal-setting for later. As you dive into your devotional, inspiration will strike. Let it flow naturally!

Always pray for your goals. Remember, prayer is the way we converse with God every day. It’s how we express our faith, seek guidance, find comfort, and grow in our relationship with the Divine.
